The Future of Infant Feeding Care

Transforming Infant Feeding

Sipple helps babies, their parents, and healthcare professionals breathe a little easier by transforming infant feeding. Our Nēo platform empowers families and providers with innovative technology to enhance feeding and nutrition—and potentially avoid devastating health outcomes.

A Critical Gap

Every 37 seconds a baby in the U.S. is born with feeding difficulties - 860,000 a year! If undetected, especially after they leave hospital, uncoordinated feeding patterns can result in serious developmental and health-issues. They include fluid aspiration, malnutrition, impeded growth and neurocognitive impairment. Delayed diagnosis not only jeopardizes a baby’s future but heightens parent anxiety and drives up healthcare costs.

Expertise and Innovation

Sipple Care's founder, Dr. Caroline Martinez, MD, FAAP, MS, identified this critical gap in infant care. She also realized that overcoming it would require tackling several major challenges: the lack of an objective measurement tool, limited ability to monitor each feeding, scarce specialist availability, and the high cost of treating complications.

Experienced Leadership Team

Drawing on more than 15-years of experience as a neurodevelopmental pediatrician at New York's Mt. Sinai Hospital—along with her expertise in nutritional genomics and biomedical informatics—Dr. Caroline founded Sipple Care. She assembled a leadership team and advisory board with backgrounds in medical life sciences, biotechnology, software development, and marketing strategy. Together, they’re bringing Sipple’s first product, NēO, to the U.S. healthcare market in 2025.

Introducing Sipple NēO

Sipple NēO is supported by three provisional patents, combines smartphone technology with AI-powered analytics and remote monitoring of key infant feeding pattern measures in real time during breast or bottle feeding.

Seamless Communication

NēO seamlessly transmits data directly to clinicians, ensuring frequent evaluation of feeding pattens and mechanics to identify difficulties and provide guidance to develop effective breathing coordination and feeding skills. Importantly, it also delivers clear, actionable feedback for parents while providing evidence-based tracking, streamlined documentation, and simple insurance billing for healthcare teams.

Partnering for Progress

NēO is currently partnering with Boston Children's Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital NYC for clinical testing in parallel with Clinical Community use in NYC/CT/FL.

It is only just the beginning!
